Acting? How cool would it be to see him on the big screen? Wasn't Road Zombie done for a soundtrack? I remember talking to someone connected to the band and they had mentioned they were shopping it around for a soundtrack.

"Were a blue collar band".....yeah, they definately worked hard to get where they are, but Mike is really trying to be modest by saying he's not rich.

If you own a house in So cal, your pretty much worth millions just based on the equity of your home.

Also, i have a feeling royalies are being paid for all their songs in the movies lords of dogtown, the break-up etc...etc... let alone royalties for the albums that are being sold both old and new.

I love mike, but he's really trying to position himself as blue collar, when really he's probably more white collar FINANCIALLY then anyone i've ever met.

Its cool mike....you dont have to pretend to be poor just to kick it. lol!

What he means by blue collar band is that they have to tour to support their families. That make decent money as long as they're on the road, but they stop it stops with them. They're not Metallica or Green Day.... they don't make that much.

I'm going to have to say remastered as well...

If they were re-recorded, you would get virtually the same instrumental tones as you can hear in Far Behind or common to SLR&R because thats where its at these days.

I believe Mike said remastered in the interview which would mean this...

They took takes from those recording sessions that were a part of their respective album sessions and remastered those. Some of the takes match the same takes used on the previous albums, some don't, but they were already there since "back in the day". The only thing that may be new are "bandaids" to certain tracks to spruce the overall tone up. Then you are mixing with someone different then before at some point and that plays a part. To say anything was re-recorded I would think it means they did the entire thing from scratch which they certainly have not.
